Minecraft Shenanigans

I'm back from midterms, finally. I'll be trying to post much more frequently from now on.

On to business, recently I've been watching this guy's videos on youtube which is one of those "Let's play" videos. His videos are about Minecraft, I've been meaning to play this game more seriously cause I find it very interesting, unfortunately my computer is just not good enough and can't handle it (yah I know, can't handle blocky graphics). In my poor computer's defense, it's getting to be almost 4 years old.

In any case, If you were wondering how to play minecraft or are just bored and want to watch something, watch this guy's videos, they're pretty entertaining and he's got a ton of them so you won't run out. I'll attach one of his videos and if you want to watch more just go to his channel.

On a different note, does anyone here play rappelz? Just wondering, I wanna find some people to play with.

Midterm mania

Sorry for the infrequent posting folks. Midterms really have me in a slump and I've just been too busy. I Promise to be a little more active after they're over.

On another note, here's a funny picture for now while I get my head out of university.

I hope that most of you can see this picture, if not, you'll never really know why this picture is funny :D

Guile's theme goes with valentine

He watches you
Valentine's Day is creeping up, had to scramble around to get my girlfriend a present, I can't say what it is cause she may read this :P
With that said, I would like to challenge someone to write their girlfriend a song with Guile's theme. We all know it goes with everything, example:

Small review on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

So I recently started playing MHFU for the PSP and I have to say I'm really loving that game. For those of you who don't know it's a game where you spend most of your time dying because it has an incredibly steep learning curve. There are no levels in this game since all of your strength and defense come solely from your gear so you will spend countless hours killing the same monster to get that one rare component so you can craft a super awesome weapon/armor.

The game incorporates many different elements which are all related to eachother, aside from crafting weapons and armors you can also craft rare items which will help you on your journey whether it's healing yourself or trapping a monster. So far I haven't gotten too far into the game to have gotten a trapping quest but I assume it's much much muuuch more difficult than the simple slaying quests. But whatever I mention in this post is nothing but the tip of the iceberg in a much more complex world that I've yet to discover.

For those of you who have played this game and are veterans at it, leave some tips for us newbie hunters and just general things to look out for. No need to mention that "sinking feeling" quest...I know of it already. Also if anyone is experience using XLink Kai I would really appreciate it if you could explain how the (#$%@ you use it.

my मकड़ी sense is tingling

So I was in my political science class last week and through discussion he happened to mention how old concepts are re-adapted into new cultures in order to reach wider audiences. The way the proff wanted to prove his point was by showing us a picture or a widely recognized character and how it was turned into something new.

I wanted to share with everyone that character and let me know what you think.

Before

After

You know what? He really doesn't look that bad, he still look incredibly cool. By the way, in case you didn't know this is the re-invention of Spiderman for an Indian audience.

A little something to think about

Hey, you know how the Pokedex entries say something like:

HOOTHOOT - Owl Pokemon

Do people in the PokeWorld go "What the heck is an owl?"

Now I'm not here to judge or anything, but to me it seems a bit of an inconvenience to live in the PokeWorld. Watch out for that tall grass.

PS: sorry about the bad quality

The best ukulele player in the world Pt. 2

Here's another video by Jake Shimabukuro playing an original song. It's really awesome, you should really check it out.
